The training program for the IGP therapists shares the aims of other efficacy treatment programs. Effective training programs are essential for clinical research whose task is to demonstrate posttreatment outcome effectiveness. Sorting out the differences between training and treatment effects is particularly important when the patient population, BPD patients, is known to be difficult to engage in any treatment program.
